Leviathan Glass

Leviathan Glass is Dale Strand, a self taught glass blower since 2001. Dale considers himself more of an artist overall than just a glass blower. He is a graduate of Memphis College of Art. Dale primarily worked with metals in sculpture creation, but always had a side eye toward melting glass as a hobby.

Entrepreneurship and life has many twists and turns. Dale began an apprenticeship in blacksmithing after graduating college. But at night he would work on his skill with a torch and borosilicate. After over a decade forging steel and melting glass, Dale hit a cross road in 2018. It was time to put his hobby at the forefront of his artistic endeavors. Leviathan Glass was born, and Dale has been melting unique pieces for the pipe industry ever since.
