One of the longest tenured glass blowers gracing the shelves and pages of Smokin Js is the illustrious and enigmatic Kevin McMurray .. aka Kmack. The universe works in strange ways. Kmack was an electrical lead working for a company that made rockstar busses in Eugene, Oregon. An unfortunate auto accident hampered Kmack's ability to work the grind in the corporate environment.
This twist of fate led Kmack to hit up his high school friend, and prolific glass blower, Carsten Carlile for training on the bench torch. That was it! Kmack was hooked and the new chapters in the story of life were ready to be written.
Kmack loves working with dichroic glass sheets, and combining the beauty of dichroic glass with his intricate inside out latticino work. Everything about Kmack is PNW. He's a kind fun-loving dude who likes to go 4-wheeling, fishing, and hanging out with his daughter. He blows your next favorite pipe, guaranteed!
